He lives with his family in Ann Arbor and grows native perennials from seed that he collects. After seeing first hand how invasive species have spread and damaged local natural communities\, he is convinced that we should all be supporting our local ecosystem by surrounding our homes with native species. Partnering with nonprofit organizations Adapt: Community Supported Ecology and Wild Ones\, he offers free consultations\, seeds\, plants\, tools\, knowledge\, and techniques.
